Now Buses will tell you what the next stop is ...Low Floor buses got fixed up with GPRS system

Passengers travelling in Low floor buses need not worry about the stop
that they need to get down ! Buses will tell them what next stop is.
BCLL made almost all low floor buses fixed with GPRS system, By which the passengers got this facility available.
LIKE THIS INFORMATION IS KNOWN
Passengers
can know the information by looking at the digital display boards
provided inside the bus and can even listen to the announcement that is
made at each and every stop. This is useful for every passenger.
By
installing a GPRS system in a bus, time to time an operator can know
any destruction happened to a bus, directions, routes in which the bus
is driven and live vehicle tracking.
IN EVERY BUS STOP THERE WILL BE A DISPLAY BOARD
After
this, Municipal corporation will make bus stops especially for
low floor buses, There will be a digital display board on which the
information regarding bus arrival time and bus stop name where the bus
is actually will be displayed.
Nearly 500 bus stops made by PPP
where low floor buses will stop had the above facility. But due to non
presence of GPS system in the buses, this information system got stuck
up these many days.
HOW DOES THIS SYSTEM WORK ?
GPS
System will be attached to the information system by which the location
of the vehicle can be known . In between the depot to which the bus
belongs to and the destination can be known by looking at display board.
In the city first time this system is been used in public transport corporation.
SURVEY FOR NEW ROUTES HAVE BEEN STARTED:
In between Municipal corporation has started survey for new routes.
They have a thought running the New buses between Ayodhya nagar and Kolar-va-Neelbad.
Before also there is a survey done for routes.
And now it will be given a shape. Ayodhya Nagar, JK Road, piplaani, Nizamuddin Colony, AnandNagar, Patel Nagar, Govind Pura, Indrapuri half of the routes are added.
Auto drivers are cashing the need of the people from the above
mentioned locations because of lack of public transport facilities.
For example , Distancfe between JK Road and Raisena Road is nearly half Km, But auto driver will be charging rupees 20/- in morning and 50/- in nights.
Every Bus is getting fixed up GPS system which is useful for
passengers .New buses will also have the facility soon. New buses will
be allotted to the routes. And new routes survey is already started.
